Excellent piece. I fully agree. The entire social order has become so rotten that freedom can only be found in its ruins.
A few things you left out:
Education. The schools have become tools to debase the mind.
Science. Science has become nothing more than chasing grants and citations.
Joy. The endless rules and regulations, the Safety First mindset of nervous church ladies and risk-averse bureaucrats, has drained our public spaces of vitality and beauty.
We used to fear the Chinese buying us up and taking over.
Didn't realize the enemy was within.
No, we don't have to learn Mandarin, just Orwellian. ( Edit: BTW I live in the Adern Archipelago)
