There's a movie, a documentary, actually, made by Oliver Stone, about 2014 and Ukraine... I imagine you've seen it, and if not, it simply graphically backs up what you're saying.
I was following all that, and my god, it was grisly, hideous, grotesque what those Nazis did to the Don Bas people. Rather like what's going on now in Gaza. There is an EVIL shadow on the world. I followed for some time AFTER watching the movie, I saw things I can not erase from my mind...
THEY started all that, and THEY were horrible, HORRIBLE. To whine NOW about how woebegone they are is pretty lame. Sort of understandable, but-- lame.

Thank you for that. Yes, I agree about the 'evil'. This quaint semi mystical biblical type language becomes the only thing that fits nowadays. Week after week another new move that can only be described as 'evil'.
A growing recognition that there is a constant remorseless pressure that can best be described as 'evil'.
Eventually the truth of that fact filters down through the layers of my numb atrophied mind, like ink through blotting paper. Words have meaning. Reality is Reality. There is pain in the world. There is 'good' and there IS 'Evil' and we are watching it at work.
