I do not want to upset you but just to put a different view, very similar, but different.
I do not think the Bible is infallible nor that it is the word of God nor that it should preoccupy us as an object of earnest perpetual study.
I believe there is a God, indeed, and in fact believe that God to be all that is.
But I think the experience and the nature of that God is not difficult to find, is not hidden in arcane mysteries, does not require regiments of priests, does not require 'learned' theologians nor endless 'study' of some version of 'the Bible'.
It is revealed personally every day and those accounts are freely available for scrutiny, checkability, education, enlightenment.
They are the 'NDE' accounts. The accounts of people who have had a 'Near Death Experience'
Though all different and unique they overall say the same thing always: one God, All is God and God is All and God is Love as we'd say in our human incarnation. The closer we draw to God the more we feel what we call 'love'.
Simple as that.
So all we have to do is believe and as Jesus said: Do unto others as we would have them do unto us.
That's all.
As regards the world's present problems they are all political. And the biggest part is Democratic political. i.e. the problems in Democracies.
And the clear greatest problem there, all over the West, is that the govts are out of control.
Out of Control.
Uncontrolled.
And who should be controlling them?
Well: 'govt of the people by the people for the people' isn't it?
The people should be controlling them. But the people habitually roll up once every few years and elect a representative of their favoured Party and that's it until next time
THAT's what's wrong. A rep should be elected to represent YOU, not a Party. And he should be communicated with continually during his term. Advised, directed, monitored. About your wishes.
Now granted this was virtually impossible in the past for various practical reasons.
But now things are different and that difference should be manifest as soon as possible.
Well I think you're somewhat stressed, distressed, as who wouldn't be when there's so much manifest evil around?
If I may I'll disclose what I find to be very kinda comforting as a 'backstory' that makes sense of it all. And, incidentally, tallies with a couple of minor experiences of my own.
It is the 'story' that comes back with the NDE people. Here's one example. I hope you find it interesting. :)

Fear is not our friend. Death is not our enemy.
We Shall Prevail, and I say that from my heart, not my head.
This is a situation where ONLY the bible makes sense to me.
Question? Let me pose a question I've thought a lot about for a long time?
How long have there been serious, and then more serious wars that went into 'the Cold War' where
'they', the leaders were leading the people into destruction?
They did have weapons of warfare; they spent a LOT of money on those all the way along.
And certainly many, MANY, died, but nevertheless, here we are??!!
I said only the bible makes sense to me. Let me explain a little about that.
A few scriptures to help us?
I think first of a scripture that says 'the children of DARKNESS are much wiser than the children of light'. Children of darkness know
very well how to operate in darkness and children of light do not. It is DARK here, everyone in it for themselves, what's
in it for me, for my family, who cares about you?
So, let's not just blame the leaders because this same 'narcissism', or 'me centeredness' is right across the board,
a 'terminal disease'. Not to say ALL people do this ALL the time, but enough do it enough of the time.
What most people have 'a little of', will cut corners if it helps them, will 'overlook' the bad ways of their own kids,
leaders have way more of this, and they know 'the game', know how to keep themselves 'in power', how to
use the common people. They, of course, are the ultimate 'racist' where only they and their group matter,
and the rest are to be enslaved, used.
The bible again has the wisdom calling them 'destroyers', and St. Paul calling them 'vessels to dishonor' because that's
who and what they ARE.
So, the ONLY reason we haven't been blown up, grids come down (spoken of now for over 15 YEARS) isn't what
you or I did, what people did but how God just didn't allow it.
I follow the bible and it tells me this earth and all that is therein belongs to God.
As I listen in prayer and meditation, as I work to get rid of sins in my own life (because they're there), and as
I seek to live a holy life in the Lord, then I am doing all I, a small, ineffectual force in the grand scheme of things,
what I can. Because, I'm connecting to the highest authority and praying for all that belongs to Him.
