If only we had a government.
If only we had a people who cared about the lack of government.
Ukraine is a Civil War. It is a Civil War and should be reported as such but it never is, not by anyone, not even by Russia sympathists.
But Ukraine itself considers it a Civil War. For Ukrainians in the South East in Luhansk and Donetsk are fighting under the flags of their respective Republics: Donetsk Peoples Republic and Luhansk Peoples Republic.
Fighting against Ukrainians in the Northwest; all the rest of the Ukrainians.
This is simply a continuation of what's been happening for 8 years with 'the rest' constantly shelling the Republics.
Ukraine denies they are Republics. So does the rest of the world except Russia and Syria.
So if they are NOT Republics but are part of Ukraine then it is a Civil War. It must be. That’s what a Civil War IS. One people divided against itself.
And it is NOT, then, 'Russia invading Ukraine to conquer and take it'
Just as Putin said and says. Putin tries to get the message across but our Western lying propaganda machine is practiced overwhelming and thorough as we found during the covid hysteria years.
Putin has even renamed the square within which the American embassy in Moscow stands as 'The Donetsk People's Republic Square' so that the American embassy's address now becomes: 'The Embassy of the United States, Donetsk People's Republic Square, Moscow'.
Could anything be more obvious?
Yet still the narrative completely ignores that fact and maintains a fiction. A fiction that is at once both an injustice to Russia, ascribing motives and actions to it that it is not guilty of and an injustice to the citizens of the Republics who've suffered so much for 8 years and are even now fighting bravely and well in order to protect themselves.
I might add: principally on their own lands. Luhansk having been liberated the greatest fighting now is in the Oblast of Donetsk, within the Republic of Donetsk. So this is a Civil War. It is Ukrainian against Ukrainian. NOT Russia against Ukraine. No. NOT, NOT, NOT.
That's obviously pretty important but I'll spell it out part of its importance: what it says about Ukraine. When you get a Civil War it is because something is drastically wrong in a nation. And that's the case here. There's something drastically wrong in Ukraine, drastic enough to make these two Republics split off.
Simply: Ukraine is rotten. It is famous for being rotten. It holds the record as the most corrupt State in Europe. It is infested also, as an addition, with far right racial hatred groups. Ukraine is not some holy pure maiden in need of rescue.
Ukraine is a monster many Ukrainians ran from and formed their own Republics to remain distant from.
And if it is NOT a Civil War, if Ukraine and its managerial office: the United States CIA and warmongering companies deny it is a Civil War and seek to insist Ukraine is a homegenous whole deserving of billions of dollars of our aid and the deaths of thousands in order to protect it - then they must be saying that those Republics are NOT part of Ukraine.
And if they are NOT part of Ukraine then they must be recognised as independent sovereign States. Which is what they’ve been saying for 8 years, which is what the Minsk accords said and which is what Russia says. And now Syria.
In which case it is THREE Allied States fighting against one State: the Ukraine.
It is an Alliance of Three. They are the Allies.
And they are fighting because another State - the ‘famously rotten’ Ukraine - has occupied the Territories of two of those States and has been shelling them for 8 years and has sworn, in fact, to eliminate them.
Now who’s side should the world be on?
And why wouldn’t we all be plainly aware of these facts?
It's pretty awful to wake up and find we are on the wrong side.
To find WE are the team of liars and misrepresenters, the unjust, the warmongering, the hate spreading, the profits before people, the mad, the vicious, the civilisation destroying.
WE who thought ourselves the pinnacle of civilisation, the holders of Christian beliefs and behaviour, of Democracy and Freedom and Human Rights.
And now we find WE are those who deny all those things. Every one.
It's hard and awful. But it's the truth. Those two Covid years, what we saw then of our governments should have, could have forewarned us.
