Have You Considered the Future?
with/without the brutal hegemon.
We’ve had a lovely year or two observing and discussing, reacting to, being horrified by, the actions of our brutal hegemon.
Haven’t we?
We’ve learned about wall to wall lies, about total corruption, about total malfeasance, about hidden massive bankruptcy, about total lack of oversight, about false flags, about ethnic cleansing, about regime change, about assassinations, about destabilising, about covert operations about genocide, about duplicity….
We’ve come from naive ignoramus in many cases (mine for example) to perhaps worldly wise cynic deeply disturbed and depressed about it all. Horrified. Stripped of all national pride and faith in ‘our’ history.
It’s been fun, eh?
But the future is coming. What’s it going to be?
Okay. There’s a monster loose on the face of the earth. Okay, we can trust no one and nothing.
Okay, okay, okay already. We know. It is rotten from top to bottom and sideways.
But willy nilly the future is coming. And perhaps we ought to turn away from rapt obsession with the grim terrifying reality of the doings of that monster and try to collect our wits and begin planning for that future?
That’s about all I have to say. It’s the line I’m pushing.
I said much the same here is all:
